The role of a marine surveyor is to produce a detailed report on the condition of a vessel. I carry out an in depth inspection and series of tests on the vessel, looking at each components functionality, structure, and cosmetic condition. Clear conclusions are drawn with expert advice on any issues identified; I give a concise route forwards, whether it is repair solutions, facts for purchasing negotiations, or just peace of mind on the condition.

The report is produced within a week and is your property - it will not be shown to the seller or broker without your permission.

For a survey quotation then please call, email or fill out the enquiry form

Survey for the prospective buyer comprehensively detailing the condition of the vessel. If you are viewing a number of vessels then I can carry out an initial assessment to decide whether to take it any further.

It is normal for your insurance company to request this prior to insuring/renewal. Similar to the pre-purchase survey but slightly less onerous.

Years of coatings and antifouling are removed from the hull in select areas where inspections are carried out to find signs of moisture related defects & areas of high moisture content in both the hull and the structure. The treatment process can be specified and managed.

A survey can be tailored to your requirements if you have a particular area of concern. Let me know what area you want an expert impartial report on.
